These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Patto application and website (the "Service") operated by Patto ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Patto. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are between 13 and 18, you confirm that you have your parent or guardian's consent.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
You may not create accounts for the purpose of spamming, harassing others, or impersonating another person.
Ownership. You retain ownership of the content you create on Patto, including check-in posts, photos, comments, and community descriptions.
Licence grant. By posting content on Patto, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute your content within the Service for the purpose of operating and improving Patto. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account.
Responsibility. You are solely responsible for the content you post. You must not post content that is illegal, defamatory, threatening, harassing, sexually explicit, or that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.

We reserve the right to remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these guidelines, at our sole discretion.
You can report content that violates these Terms using the report feature within the app, or by emailing hello@pattosocial.com. We will review reports and take appropriate action.
The Patto name, logo, and application design are owned by us. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our prior written consent.
Patto uses Firebase by Google for authentication, data storage, and notifications. Authentication is handled via email magic links. We use RevenueCat to manage in-app subscription status. Your use of the Service is also subject to Apple's terms of service where applicable.
Patto Pro. Patto offers an optional paid subscription ("Patto Pro") that unlocks additional features. Subscriptions are purchased through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's payment terms.
Billing. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Your Apple ID account will be charged upon confirmation of purchase and at the start of each renewal period.
Cancellation. You can cancel your subscription at any time via your Apple ID account settings or through the "Manage Subscription" option in the Patto app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access to Pro features until then.
Refunds. All purchases are final and non-refundable except as required by applicable law or Apple's refund policies.
We strive to keep Patto available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice.
You can delete your account at any time from the Profile page within the app. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, posts, daily logs, and community memberships. This action cannot be undone.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Patto and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
Health information. Patto lets you attach activity from Apple Health — such as workouts, steps, sleep, time in daylight, and stand activity — to your check-ins. This information is displayed for personal accountability and social motivation only. Patto is not a medical device and is not a medical, health, or fitness service, and nothing in the Service constitutes medical advice. Apple Health data may be incomplete or inaccurate, and you should not rely on it for any medical, diagnostic, or treatment decision. Always consult a qualified professional for health and fitness guidance.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms within the app. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
